*Please note that in order to provide our clients with the most candle for their money, we fill our candles as high as possible and do not place the lid on it. After burning for the first time, the lid should go on without impacting the wooden wick.

Always burn a new candle for the first time for 2-3 hours or until the melted wax pools evenly around the glass jar. Extinguish the candle, then before use again, trim the wick using a wick trimmer to 1/4" so that the flame is not too hot and does not use the wax too quickly.

It is important not to reburn the char that is created on any wick when reburning, this uses too much fuel and can cause a smoking effect.
